Latrobe Street Gallery
The LaTrobe Street Gallery is a contemporary art space promoting committed and innovative art practice in Australia.
The Gallery has exhibited work in a range of media for the past 8 years and has achieved an increasingly successful profile showing and representing the work of new to mid career artists.
It is well patronised by curators, critics, artists, the public, business and directors of private and public collections and galleries. The gallery is housed in and supported by LaTrobe Street College of Art & Design and is located in the city centre of Melbourne.
Proposals
Proposals are invited from artists, designers, architects, photographers, curators and educational institutions. The Gallery's selection panel gives preference to new work rather than an exhibition of existing work. The criteria for selection is that exhibition proposals encourage innovation, experimentation and ideas from a variety of disciplines and contemporary practices.
